SV	En David zocht God voor dat jongsken; en David vastte een vasten, en ging in, en lag den nacht over op de aarde.
WLC	וַיְבַקֵּ֥שׁ דָּוִ֛ד אֶת־הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים בְּעַ֣ד הַנָּ֑עַר וַיָּ֤צָם דָּוִד֙ צֹ֔ום וּבָ֥א וְלָ֖ן וְשָׁכַ֥ב אָֽרְצָה׃
Trans.	wayəḇaqqēš dāwiḏ ’eṯ-hā’ĕlōhîm bə‘aḏ hannā‘ar wayyāṣām dāwiḏ ṣwōm ûḇā’ wəlān wəšāḵaḇ ’ārəṣâ:

AC	טז ויבקש דוד את האלהים בעד הנער ויצם דוד צום ובא ולן ושכב ארצה
ASV	David therefore besought God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night upon the earth.
BE	So David made prayer to God for the child; and he took no food day after day, and went in and, stretching himself out on the earth, was there all night.
